Saving Endangered Species
Free World United is committed to the preservation of the endangered species of the Galapagos Islands and has teamed up with Galapagos Conservancy (GC) to achieve this goal.
One of GC's critical areas of concern is the protection of endangered species such as several subspecies of the Galapagos Giant Tortoise, the Flightless Cormorant, the Galapagos penguin and the nesting grounds for migratory sea turtles.
Helping Underprivileged Children
Since 1998 the Galapagos Scouts Program (GSP) has been educating local underprivileged children about the importance of creating a sustainable community for their future health and welfare and that of the Galapagos Islands.
This education gives them the opportunity to consider careers in the Galapagos National Park, the tourism sector and the local Navy.
Saving The Environment
Free World United has teamed up with Galapagos Conservancy, a non-profit organization that conducts scientific research to better understand the ecosystem of the Galapagos and the impact of human interference with its unique plants and animals.
With the support of more than 100 scientists, they are able to investigate inland and marine life and determine the present and future state of the Islands. This information guides the sustainability efforts of key stakeholders.
Enseña Ecuador is a non-profit whose main objective is to improve education in Ecuador, by selecting the best college graduates to become teachers of children in the poorest sectors of the country.

The Galapagos Conservancy (GC) is the only US based non-profit organization that is devoted exclusively to the protection and preservation of the Galapagos Islands.
